Rat Cardiac organ culture is generating in a 6 well format with media interface. The compounds of interest are introduced to the Rat Cardiac organ matrix or in the media. Depending on the number of concentrations different well formats are utilized for the Study, 12, 24, 48 and 96 well formats. The following parameters can be evaluated from this organ culture system: IC50, Wnt pathway, SHH pathway, Notch pathway, TGFb pathway, proliferation rate, safety studies, and inhibition rates.
